- Nemuel Person
- Day of God. (1. ) One of Simeon’s five sons ( 1 Chr. 4:24 ), called also Jemuel ( Gen. 46:10 ). (2. ) A Reubenite, a son of Eliab, and brother of Dathan and Abiram ( Num. 26:9 ).
- Jachin Person
- Firm. (1. ) The fourth son of Simeon ( Gen. 46:10 ), called also Jarib ( 1 Chr. 4:24 ). (2. ) The head of one of the courses (the twenty-first) of priests ( 1 Chr. 24:17 ).
- Simeon Person
- Hearing. (1. ) The second son of Jacob by Leah ( Gen. 29:33 ). He was associated with Levi in the terrible act of vengeance against Hamor and the Shechemites (34:25, 26).
