The particulars of this prophecy are dispersed and interwoven, and the same things left and returned to again. Babylon is abundant in treasures, yet neither her waters nor her wealth shall secure her.

- Sacred land or high land, the name of a country on one of the mountains of which the ark rested after the Flood subsided ( Gen. 8:4 ). The “mountains” mentioned were probably the Kurdish range of South Armenia. Modern identification: Urartu.
- Ashkenaz Place
- Biblical region. Modern identification: Scythian Neapolis.
- Babylonia Place
- Biblical region. Modern identification: Babylon.
- Minni Place
- Only in Jer. 51:27 , as the name of a province in Armenia, which was at this time under the Median kings. Armenia is regarded by some as = Har-minni i. e., the mountainous country of Minni. (See ARMENIA. ). Modern identification: Qalaichi.
